This course provides an introduction to creative writing, with a focus on poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. Prior experience is not necessary. Consider our classroom to be an artist's studio since this course is meant to provide students with the chance to write and think creatively. We're going to write, edit, discuss, and create together. We will read and debate each other's creative work for the most part of this course. In both small and big groups during the workshop, we will provide constructive criticism. As your instructor, it is my responsibility to support and guide you as you develop your love for writing.
