The grammar course designed for first-year students provides a comprehensive foundation in the fundamentals of English language grammar, enabling students to utilize the language with precision and correctness. This course serves as an introduction to English grammar, where students will explore the nine parts of speech, along with their various types and functions within sentences. The course is structured in a theoretical format, allowing students to examine different grammatical categories individually and understand their roles in sentence construction. Additionally, the course includes a practical tutorial which offers students the chance to apply the concepts they have learned throughout the course.

Course Title: Introduction to Grammar 

• Course Description: This course serves as an introductory exploration of fundamental concepts in English grammar. It aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of sentence structures, parts of speech, and various grammatical elements crucial for effective communication in English. Throughout the course, students will engage with foundational grammar topics, enabling them to comprehend and construct grammatically correct sentences and expressions.

• Audience: First Year Students, Group 01 (L1, S1)

• General Objective: Improve students’ knowledge of language structure.
